In the United Free Church of Scotland, baptism is a visible sign of God’s grace and the believer’s commitment to Christ.
It is administered to both infants and adults and is considered a way of entering into the covenant relationship with God. Infants are baptised as a sign of God’s covenant with their parents, and adults are baptised upon professing their faith in Jesus Christ.
Baptism is administered in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
